The 12th Annual General Meeting of Asia-Pacific Central Securities Depository Group (ACG) took place at the St. Regis Hotel in Singapore from November 9-11, 2008. The Singapore Exchange Limited played host for this event. Mr. Muhammad Hanif, CEO-CDC and Mr. Aftab Ahmed Diwan, COO-CDC represented Central Depository Company of Pakistan in this meeting. For the 12th consecutive meeting, the discussion agendas were built upon a central theme i.e."Growth through Service Excellence". 

About ACG: The Asia-Pacific Central Securities Depository Group (ACG) was formed in November 1997 as an informal international organization with the objective to facilitate the exchange of information and to promote mutual assistance among member securities depositories and clearing organizations in the Asia-Pacific region. The organization works towards breaking down barriers to meet standardization in the formation of world CSDs & related organizations and realize regional harmonization. 

The meeting aimed to foster the spirit of mutual cooperation and discuss various challenges faced by Central Securities Depositories (CSD) in the region, and the initiatives pursued by different entities.
