Dear CDS Element,
Considering your critical role in the functioning of capital market and more so as custodian of public investments, attention to security of your information has always been an essential area for CDC. In view of the same, CDC introduced a two factor authentication mechanism through RSA Secure ID Token device in 2008. The said device will expire on October 31, 2012.
As a replacement of RSA tokens, CDC is introducing VASCO Tokens with similar technology to ensure your security.
The annual installment for the Vasco Token would remain same as for the RSA Token i.e Rs. 4,200/=. Customers leaving CDC Services would be reimbursed proportionately. In the event of loss or damage to the device, a one-time replacement charge would be applicable as per the following schedule in addition to the annual installment:
Our Customer Network Support Staff would handover the new device and guide you about its usage upon deployment. We will approach you shortly to set up an appointment right after Eid-ul-Fitar. Please ensure the availability of relevant staff as per the appointment. As always, we look forward to your cooperation.
