– SMS gives you an added level of convenience by providing your account info on your cell/mobile phones through short messaging service (SMS) alerts.

 – SMS service is a one-way account information facility provided on national cellular networks only. Alerts about the following activities in your respective CDS Sub-Account or IAS Account are provided through this service:

• Approval and rejection of deposit of securities in your account.
• Transfer of securities (delivery-in and delivery-out) in your account.
• Credit of corporate entitlements such as bonus/right (Paid & Unpaid) shares and new issues.
• Pledge transactions pertaining to your account.
• Change in your account’s registration details.
• Change of your  – IVR T-PIN.
• Issuance of Transaction Order Book (T.O. Book) – IAS Accounts only.
• Intimation of negative cash balance to avoid inconvenience – IAS Accounts only.
• Due date for the annual fee – IAS Accounts only.
• Listing/Delisting of securities in CDS.
• Change in the Security Name and Symbol.

IAS Account Holders can activate this facility by calling 0800 –CDCPL (23275) and Sub-Account Holders can contact their respective Participants (Brokers) for the same.
